Dear members and cotton friends. Due to the pandemic linked to the Coronavirus and the uncertainty as to the resumption of full activity of our cotton sector, The Management Committee of the French Cotton Association (AFCOT) decided to postpone for one year the Cotton Forum which was to be held in Monte Carlo on October 7&8th 2020. We therefore hope to find you even more numerous in 2021
This year, AFCOT cotton event will take place in hotel MERIDIEN Beach Plaza, 22 avenue Grace, Monte Carlo, Monaco, on Wednesday October 7th and Thursday October 8th 2020.
On Wednesday, a welcome drink will be served at 6 pm in this hotel.
Thursday morning will be dedicated to presentations about cotton, and followed by a friendly net working lunch and an afternoon conducive to professional meetings.
At 6.30 pm AFCOT’s president, Mr Curt Arbenz, will receive all participants for a pre dinner drink, followed by the closing gala dinner.

How to reach Monaco
Since Nice Airport is not connected to the rail network, we do not recommend that you come to Monte Carlo by train.
– By bus, take line 110 from terminals 1 & 2. Buses run every day and every 30 minutes. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. At Monte Carlo get off at the SEA Club / Méridien stop located just opposite the Méridien hotel. Price of a return ticket: 33 euros. Tickets are sold on the website or on board vehicles and finally at the Airport, at bus counters, outside terminals; facing the docks. T1: Door A0 – T2: between doors A1 and A2.
– By taxi. A station taxi is located directly at airport exist. The fare is about 100 euros for 1, 2 or three passengers.
– By helicopter. The MONACAIR company assures the transfer from Nice airport to Monte Carlo. A free shuttle will then take you to your hotel.
Flight last about 7 minutes. A one way ticket cost 140 euros whereas a return ticket cost 260 euros. Tickets are sold by internet on their web site.
